National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Since 2013, September 30th has been observed as Orange Shirt Day, a movement to recognize the colonial legacy of Indian Residential Schools and make commitments towards the ongoing process of reconciliation. As this is non-enrolling day, students and their families can take personal time to reflect on and learn more around Canada’s history and explore what their own personal work towards reconciliation might look like. Students, staff and parents are encouraged to wear orange to school on Wednesday September 29th.
