Parkview Pride

Thursday September 19th is our first Parkview Pride of the school year.  We encourage all students, staff and parents to wear their Parkview clothing or to wear red!  We will also be hosting our annual Terry Fox Run and corn shucking relay.

Crews are working hard at Parkview and we are very optimistic that classes will resume as planned on Monday morning.  We will delay the start of the Strong Start program until further notice.    Please check our website and/or Facebook page for any updates.

Dear Parkview Parents and Guardians:

We are once again experiencing an odour in our school. It is  isolated to  the west wing and is not affecting classroom areas. All students are in the east wing. We will be increasing our outdoor learning opportunities today.  We have a work crew from our Operations department on  site and are working towards a resolution of  the situation. Students will remain in their classes at this time. If the situation changes, or the odour no longer remains isolated to the west wing, we will move our students and staff to Eagle River Secondary. As always, if you have concerns, you are welcome to pick your child up from the school. Updates will be posted on our school website and Facebook page.

Dear Parkview Parents and Guardians:

Due to the high volume of rain water currently in Sicamous and drainage challenges, an odour has been detected in the west wing of our school. At this time the odour is isolated to the main office area and west wing and is not affecting classroom areas, all students are in the east wing. We have a work crew on site and are monitoring the situation carefully. Students will remain in their classes at this time. If the situation changes, or the odour no longer remains isolated to the office area, we will move our students and staff to Eagle River Secondary. As always, if you have concerns, you are welcome to pick your child up from the school. Updates will be posted on our school website and Facebook page
