Dear Parkview Families;
There has been a lot of information shared in the media recently about the return to school this September. Please continue to check sd83.bc.ca for updates from the Ministry of Education as well as information specific to SD83. I understand that this may be a very uncertain time for parents. All families should have received an informative email from the District last night regarding the District’s safety plans. We encourage you to read this important communication. Plans for students and staff in SD 83 are posted on the School District’s website sd83.bc.ca. These plans include protocols and practices for the health and safety of all and will make up our new normal at school, at least until we move out of stage 2. We are looking forward to the return of our students on Thursday, September 10th and working TOGETHER with you, our parents, on a successful, safe start up for all. More information specific to our school will be forthcoming.
Kindergarten parents will be receiving an email early next week regarding the gradual entry schedule.
SD83 has developed a fee structure to reflect a common framework. School purchased supply package is $35, agenda books (grades 1-6) are $10, activity fee is $20, and the (optional) cultural performance fee is $10. We encourage parents to pay via e-transfer (par@sd83.bc.ca). Our e-transfer will be up and running by September 8th!
