Welcome back soon, Eagles!

Hi parents/guardians of Parkview students!

We are super excited to welcome our kiddos back to school and to welcome any newcomers to our community. There has been lots of work done to the school this summer to update the HVAC system to make the air better and the heating and cooling more efficient. Thanks to the workers for getting that done before the start of the year. Kim and I will be in the school all next week getting things ready for the first day for students (Wed Sept 5). On the first day, Grade 1-6 students will be dismissed at 11:11 AM (three hours early and no Kindergarten kids this day) and Thursday will be the first full day for Grade 1-6 students and the first day of gradual entry for our new Kindie students.

I am excited to be at Parkview Elementary and look forward to meeting you all and, especially, meeting the kids. I’ve heard so many wonderful things about the Sicamous community and look forward to being a part of it.
